Compass Fitness & Nutrition was a vision that came to fruition after years of dedication to the fitness industry and education in the fitness and nutrition world. Our gym is a place for men and women of all ages and different levels of fitness. We want to provide an atmosphere that is fun but also holds each other accountable. Meet our team
Jackie is the co-owner and lead trainer at Compass Fitness & Nutrition. She has a huge passion for fitness & nutrition and has spent the last two decades studying health. She graduated with a Masters in Community Health and has held certificates in NASM & ACE as well as a Nationally Board-Certified Massage Therapist. Jackie proudly served in the Army National Guard as a combat medic and would love to see other military personnel in the gym!
Josh is the co-owner of Compass Fitness & Nutrition. He has been a successful small business owner for 17 years and is a sports enthusiast. After multiple knee surgeries due to sports, Josh spent countless hours studying plant-based nutrition, proper weight lifting techniques and what it means to have a healthy lifestyle.
What Types of workouts can i expect at compass?
There is a wide variety of group fitness classes each week. We offer strength & endurance weight training, cardio conditioning, Tabata style classes, High Intensity Interval Training, Bootcamp, Yoga, and as well as open gym time.
Will I get assistance during the workouts?
Absolutely! The coaches help every step of the way – ecouraging you to stay motivated & helpful corrections to keep everyone safe.
Are there locker rooms & showers available?
Yes, men & women’s lockers are available as well as showers. Members are asked to provide their own locks & toiletries.
Can I use the cardio equipment while classes are happening?
Sure! Rowers & stationary bikes are available & members are welcome to use them if they are not in use by the group classes.
Is there child care?
There is an enclosed area for children to play, however, there is not supervision. Because of the open concept gym, parents can see their children during classes to ensure their comfort.
